September 5, 2007: Our effort to enhance your Crawler Email service continues! This month we've released several new functions that make your Crawler Email experience more secure and convenient. These enhancements are so useful you'll want to use your email account more often! Read the whole article to learn more...
Check Out These New Functions & Improvements:
Increased communication security - Inbox.com now includes SSL support for POP3, which means that mail you receive over POP3 is encrypted to prevent unauthorized invasion of your privacy. So now when you setup your email client, you can select the checkbox that allows you to use SSL for POP3. Below you can see a sample screenshot taken from Microsoft Office Outlook. For more information on how to setup your email client visit the Inbox.com Email help.
Alternative SMTP ports - Have you been experiencing difficulties when sending emails over your email client? If this problem was caused by your ISP provider's blocking port 25 that is usually used for sending emails using an email client, then we have a great news for you. Crawler now allows you to use port 465 or 587 instead of port 25 to send your emails.
Improved Communication with Mobile Devices - Crawler Email now includes better support for mobile rich clients for Windows Mobile, iPhone and PocketPC platforms.
We sincerely hope that you will enjoy all these new features brought to you by Crawler. Soon we'll deliver news about new functions and enhancements that are currently in progress. Stay tuned!
